#FALLOUT 4 FACEMENU BODY NOT WOKRING MODS#
Once you've found some mods you'd like to try, here are the tools you can use to get them working. Go into your GPU software's control panel and make sure Skyrim is capped at 60fps to fix all that. The physics engine wasn't designed for it, and you'll end up hearing loud, repeated sound effects as things like water splashes loop continually, as well as seeing horses float into the air, bodies bounce around, and so on.

The first thing you'll need to know if you're playing Skyrim on a modern PC in 2022 is that it's going to have problems running at a framerate higher than 60fps.

That's why our guide assumes a manual pick-and-choose style of modding, and is sorted into categories so you can find a selection of individual mods that are compatible and suit your playstyle. It can be overwhelming to sort through all those mods, and installing a pre-canned list usually means adding a bunch of things you don't actually want, then not being able to get rid of them without messing up a bunch of dependencies. Become a giant, fly, walk through walls, spawn any item you want, and even become Santa Claus with Skyrim console commands (opens in new tab). I'm going to yank the second pair and see what happens I'll report back later. There's no need to play Skyrim as a humble warrior. The first pair is located here: F:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data, while the second pair is here: F:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Tools. Something just occurred to me! In the Skyrim version of BodySlide there are hands and feet that need to be built, I don't see these in Fallout 4 are there supposed to be hands and feet in BodySlide for FO 4? One more thing the Fallout 4 Data folder has two folders each for meshes and textures. It's a really weird situation I set CBBE and Bodyslide up just fine for Skyrim Se but Fallout 4 is a no go. Also the FemaleBody.nif is showing as updated in Windows Explorer but the other files are not.

Sure thing: F:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Tools\BodySlideĪ bit more information, I've run the mods through both Nexus Mod Manager and manually with no success. so when you get an issue with it, you have to start thinking outside the box, hence this reply. I am mentioning all of this, because as said, CBBE is pretty much plug 'n' Play, that requires very minimal user input.

but i do know that certain content has to be in the actual game data folder. however i have never used mod organizer so i am only speculating here.

to see if their is a potential mod that could be causing this issue, i cant imagine their is, but unique player as example is a mod that has problems with CBBE and Bodyslide, and the same is true if you happen to be using Mod Organizer, as that moves all mods to a virtual drive (which does not install into fallout 4 data folder), this will cause issues with mods that has to be in the data folder, i would imagine cbbe is 1 such mod. unless their is some type of security you have in place, that is preventing files being moved and or modified.Ĭan you list your mod list as well. Which means the issue could very well be wrong data paths being provided. because you mention the femalebody.nif is not being modified, that would assume that bodyslide does not know where it is located. That is literally the only thing i can think of, i mean it is very straight forward to get cbbe in game. Can you copy and paste the address you have for Game Data Path, so i can definitely make sure that the path is definitely correct for bodyslide.
